Modern airliners with the insignia of Uzbekistan Airways National Air Company can be encountered on the flight pathways of international airports – from New York in the West through to Tokyo in the East, and from Tyumen in the North through to Singapore in the South. That is one of the symbols of the independent Uzbekistan, namely, a robust, stable and speedily advancing airline company.
Uzbekistan is getting prepared to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of its independence. Much has been done in the country over the last year. At the Oqsaroy on July 10, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu, who has been in our country on an official visit.
