Meeting between the Leadership of the Diplomatic Service and the Ambassador of India

On 29 September, Director General of the Department of Diplomatic Service under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan O. Kh. Egamberdiyev held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan Smita Pant.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as practical matters related to the functioning of the diplomatic mission.
The prospects for relocating the Embassy of the Republic of India to the territory of “New Tashkent” were also discussed.
The sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening cooperation and developing partnership relations.
