“Diplomatic Women’s club Tashkent”

The Tashkent International Women’s Club “Diplomatic Women’s club Tashkent”, uniting the wives of ambassadors, leads an active social, cultural and charitable life. The ladies, members of the International Club, while their husbands are solving political issues, carry out an equally important mission in our country. The ladies took part in the presentation of catering services and the organization of master classes in cooking national dishes, organized by the Diplomatic Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan.
As part of the meeting, the diplomatic community got acquainted with a new catering concept developed for high-level events. Leading Uzbek chefs demonstrated modern interpretations of national dishes, in which traditional recipes are harmoniously combined with international gastronomic trends. This approach not only preserves the cultural heritage, but also makes Uzbek cuisine even more attractive to foreign guests.
Particular attention was paid to the adaptation of dishes: our specialists showed how classic Uzbek cuisine can be presented in a modern format, as well as how international recipes can meet the tastes of the Uzbek audience. This is an important step in the development of gastronomic tourism and the expansion of cultural dialogue. The following Embassies took an active part in the presentation: Azerbaijan, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, China, Malaysia, Palestine, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Poland, Israel, Kazakhstan and the Delegation of the European Union.
